The Firefly Difference
CUSTOMERS WHO BUILD WITH FIREFLY ARE THREE TIMES MORE LIKELY TO BE IN BUSINESS THREE YEARS LATER
How? It’s simple… we care and it’s reflected in everything that we do. Here’s how we set Firefly customers up for success.
2-Year Warranty
Our clients get peace of mind knowing that their new food truck or food trailer is covered with Firefly’s industry leading, two-year warranty… no matter where the vehicle operates.
In many cases, we can simply ship a part to you for easy replacement. More complex warranty work can be handled by a third party mechanic or technician near you, or at our facility in Los Angeles, California.
Also, Firefly’s warranty is transferrable. We believe a warranty should apply to the project, not the owner. That’s why we stand behind all of our builds regardless of whether it has changed hands.
Repairability
Replacing a leaky plumbing fitting shouldn’t force your business to close its doors for a week. Firefly understands that down time is often more expensive than the repairs themselves, so we try to eliminate repairs and reduce repair time from the start.
We use standard parts wherever possible, make all fittings accessible, make appliance vents removable, and keep your custom cut pieces on file in our parts library so they can be easily reproduced.
By engineering long-term performance and repairability into every vehicle we make, we hope you’ll never have to use our industry-leading, 2-year warranty.

Food Truck PErmits
Every custom food truck or custom food trailer from Firefly is guaranteed to pass inspection and receive a health permit. Why does that matter?
Shockingly, there are no federal standards for mobile kitchens. That means states and cities get to make up the laws governing building and operating a food truck. And, unfortunately, those laws are different everywhere.
Unlike other builders, we spend time upfront so that your food truck will pass final inspection on the first try. Once you decide to move forward with Firefly, we research your local requirements. Then we create custom plans, submit a plan check application on your behalf, negotiate with inspectors, and build to specification.
Safety
Your safety is not optional at Firefly.
A fire suppression system, fire extinguisher, two emergency exits, and tempered glass service windows come standard.
And safety doesn’t stop at emergencies. We also take food safety seriously.
There’s no place for bacteria to hide on Firefly food trucks and trailers. Walls, ceilings and cabinets are all made from 304 stainless steel. Floors are welded aluminum diamond plate. Gaps behind, under and between surfaces and equipment are sealed to eliminate hard-to-clean spills.
ENGINEERED FOR SUCCESS
Engineering is at the heart of our business. Every Firefly project is modeled in 3-D computer software. This allows:
- Our customers to do a virtual walk through of their project with a VR headset so they know exactly how their project will look and feel before they approve the design. No surprises!
- Every piece and part of the food truck and trailer to be precisely cut on our laser cutting table.
- All files for custom cut pieces are maintained in a digital parts library to make future repairs cheap and fast.
