Slaters 50/50
BURGER RESTAURANT CHAIN
The West Coast burger chain, Slaters 50/50 sought to reach new taste buds by taking their signature 50% beef and 50% bacon burgers to the streets. Built for high volume burger production, we equipped their truck with a 36” charbroiler, 36” Flat Top Range, two deep fryers, prep fridge, upright fridge and upright freezer. When the food truck isn’t catering profitable private parties, it’s creating new loyal customers at Southern California events.

Ojai Valley Inn
UPSCALE RESORT AND SPA
Boutique hotel, Ojai Valley Inn and Spa, wanted to offer a casual outdoor dining experience for their guests. Our solution? Retrofit a vintage Airstream trailer with a full kitchen to serve upscale American fare. Equipment includes a 4-burner range, oven, microwave, and 48” prep fridge and a combination griddle and salamander. This unique, multifunctional piece of equipment is an efficient use of space and fuel making it perfect for a food trailer. Parked on their lawn, this permitted mobile food facility is a cost effective extension of the hotel’s brick and mortar kitchen.
Freda’s Pizza and Woodfired Kitchen
LOCAL PIZZA RESTAURANT BUSINESS
This show stopping build was an engineering feat. Brick and mortar pizza joint, Freda’s, wanted a 24’ mobile pizza kitchen built from a shipping container to reach more customers. But containers only come in increments of ten feet. To achieve the goal, we disassembled a larger container, cut it down, reframed it, and reassembled it with the original doors. Giant, tempered glass windows showcase the pizza making process with black marble countertops and a built-in Breadstone oven. A step down cashier area puts the order taker on level with the customer.

Papua Coffee
PREPACKAGED Cold Brew COFFEE BRAND
This savvy owner of bottled, cold brew coffee company Papua, recognized the marketing opportunities that a branded, beverage truck could bring to his business. Half insulated, walk-in cooler and half coffee truck, Papua delivers chilled cases of product to local retailers. After the driver restocks the product, he parks in front of the store to build brand awareness by sampling or selling cold brew to thirsty shoppers. Genius!
Ohm Coffee Roasters
COFFEE ROASTER BUSINESS
Derek Bromley, founder of Ohm Coffee Roasters brought the full weight of his wine sommelier, hospitality and rock and roll experience to bear with this custom coffee truck. Provisioned with bags of Ohm’s perfectly roasted coffee, a La Marzocco espresso machine, serious water filtration system, nitro taps, knock box, pitcher rinser, fridge, and ice bin, this truck is bringing balanced coffee to Napa catering and events. Lifx color changing lights, a JBL sound system, and red and black vinyl wrap, amplify the sipping experience.

With corporate’s approval, we pioneered a franchisable food truck version of their brand which includes a 60” undercounter freezer, 2-door upright fridge, Curtis coffee machine, water filter, blenders, display case, and A/C unit, all powered by a 12,000 watt generator. Now more owners can share a little bit of paradise with their Hawaaian inspired coffee and smoothies at a lower entry price point than ever before.

This Huntington beach donut icon needed a food truck with a small footprint to help navigate the tight city streets they planned to operate in. With the donuts fried fresh at their brick and mortar facility then stored on speed racks in the truck, the remaining space could be dedicated to the perfect donut compliment… freshly brewed coffee. We were able to fit in an upright fridge, Fetco digital coffee brewing system, Fetco grinder, and nitro cold brew dispenser into the 13’ kitchen. It’s always exciting to build a mobile platform for a thriving business!

CUPCAKE BAKERY
This Cupcake Wars winning, mother-daughter duo serves up sweet treats from the second ice cream van in their fleet. Built on the difficult-to-convert Nissan NV3500 sprinter van base, we successfully fit a 60” dipping freezer, bakers rack, beverage fridge, lighted display case, and A/C unit, powered by an onboard 5000 watt gas generator. With all ice cream, cupcakes, cookies and brownies pre-prepared at their brick and mortar bakery, the van functions as a branded delivery and point-of-sale vehicle to sweeten their customers’ day.
Oak Avenue
CATERING COMPANY BUSINESS
Established catering company, Oak Avenue, asked us to build a catering truck that was in line with their tireless pursuit to create intimate and personalized catering experiences. That meant accommodating a diverse selection of equipment including an undercounter freezer, upright fridge, 48” prep Fridge, soft serve machine, two deep fryers, Blodgett convection oven, 36” flat top griddle, and six burner stove… all while keeping their layout streamlined. We hope the quality of this mobile kitchen helps make the impossible possible for every event they cater.
